Why LA Loves Sanamluang

Those little rice cakes were so pillowy and the chives inside gave them a great fresh taste. She got the general soup and I got the roast duck soup; we could not have been happier. Everything was so flavorful and delicious I couldn’t stop eating even though I was STUFFED. The portions for the soups were massive so definitely recommend coming with friends to try as much as you can.

AMAZING! Plenty of Vegetarian options, had their Pad see ew with tofu and it was probably one of the most delicious plates I’ve had!!! You can get it with or without egg!!! Will have to come back again!

Thai Town institution since the 90s. Been coming here for over 25yrs. On the whole it’s great!!! Today seemed off. The overall taste profile leaned too sweet. Hope they regain their status and keep consistent.

Always quick and delicious, prices are very decent! And the soup with the thai chilis is soooo tasty! They are very quick as I said, but very kind. They have parking and an attendant, but it gets filled pretty quickly, they also have outside seating which is perfect for the summer! Portions are for about 3-4 people. Don't forget to get a Thai Iced Tea and make room for their delicious fried wontons.

I've enjoyed this place since my college years. No frills. Fresh ordered food, quick service and open late. Always loved this place let's say over Ruen Pair. Their plates alone make me feel like I'm at home with auntie or uncle cooking for me. One of my faves is the pad see ew with tofu. There have been a few late nights I've driven here just for this dish.

We departed a concert and we searched for a midnight munchies restaurant that stays open late. This place was pretty busy at midnight but we didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered my favorited dish which a is combo pad Thai spicy, combo fried rice, plus a Thai tea. Once we received the big plates of food it was love at first bite. The food was flavored just right and I could say this is one of the best Thai restaurants in LA.

We arrived here approaching 11pm on a Friday night It was still full and we were welcomed to the only empty table. we received good food recommendations and they were proper yummy we were also told to go to the bottle shop over the road to get some beers - so we did I would highly recommend this place - the locals all loved it too
